Security deposits help cover accidents that occur during a reservation, like a broken window, damaged furniture, or an unreturned key. 


Hosts can add a security deposit to their Listings, Room settings in the Login Area, before a reservation is booked.


Only the price of accommodation is payable through the Accommodation Direct platform. The refundable, security deposit must be arranged directly with the Guest after booking is completed. The deposit is to be paid in person on check-in, rather than before the stay.
